Dear Andrew Dabb, can we please stop pretending that being traumatised is some sort of a character flaw, and that not wanting to hunt is a sign of weakness and immaturity?
Right? This turn away from “Hunting is ugly, dangerous, will get you killed sooner than later, and if you can stay away from it, you absolutely should!” to “You don’t want to hunt?/You tell kids not to hunt? What’s wrong with you?!” is one of the things that bother me the most about the way SPN is being written currently.
(Small victory: at least we didn’t get any jab at New!Doug being a dumb coward for not wanting to have anything to do with the world of monsters and hunting.)
